Before, i Had Post about “How To Change Blog Icon for Blogger Here, and Now. I Will share with you About How to Change Icon in 
WordPress with Personal Host and domain.
- Login into your Wp-admin
- Chose Appearance Menu (at the left side bar WP-admin)
- Choose Edit Theme
- Choose File Header.php
- Put this Code between <head> and </head>
<link rel=’shortcut icon’ href=‘Your Picture URL’ /> - Save/update Themes
Actualy, For Blogspot user also can use this trick to change your Icon.
Note: if this trick cannot run, please check this Symbol ‘
If You Still Use yourblogname.wordpress.com may be you can not change this script on header.php. I also give the solution:
- Login into your Wp-admin
- Chose Setting Menu (at the left side bar WP-admin)
- Look at the right and Click Browse Picture to select your blog icon
- Save/updates
